SMS Terms
Last updated: August 27, 2026 · Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
These terms explain the text messages we send, how often, and how to stop them at any time.
Draft for attorney review. This page is a plain-English draft prepared for a California business. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by a California business attorney before publication. Bracketed items are placeholders that still need verified information.
1. Two separate kinds of text messages
- Service (operational) texts — messages about a quote you requested or a job you booked: estimate follow-ups, scheduling and arrival updates, crew arrival notices, and payment or receipt messages. These are sent because you contacted us about service.
- Marketing texts — promotions, seasonal offers, and reminders about services you have not requested. These are sent only if you separately opt in.
2. Marketing consent is optional
Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any service. You can request a quote, book a job, and get full service without agreeing to marketing texts. Marketing consent is collected with its own separate checkbox and is never bundled with acceptance of our Terms of Service.
3. Message frequency
Service message frequency varies with your job — typically a handful of messages around your quote and appointment. Marketing message frequency is limited and varies; expect only occasional messages.
4. Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier, not us, charges for messages sent and received. Message delivery is subject to carrier availability and is not guaranteed.
5. Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts to that number.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.
- You can also opt out by calling or emailing us at [PHONE NUMBER] or [EMAIL ADDRESS].
6. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw consent to marketing texts at any time, and doing so will not affect your ability to receive service. If you opt out of all texts, we will contact you by phone or email instead about active jobs.
7. Your phone number
Use the number you control, and let us know if it changes. How we handle your number is described in our Privacy Policy.
